Prior to the creation of her own firm in July 2012, Bylitis MARTIN has worked for eight years as a collaborator of the SCP ZURFLUH-LEBATTEUX-SIZAIRE et Associés in PARIS (8ème), alongside Mr Patrice LEBATTEUX and Ms Agnès LEBATTEUX-SIMON. Acting alternately alongside property investors, participants in the construction, institutional managers and private individuals, Bylitis MARTIN had previously been formed in the business-related sectors of various anglo-saxon law firms located in Paris. As a lawyer specialising in real estate transactions, Bylitis can obtain a mandate for the sale, purchase, lease, or rental search of a property.

Pauline THIRION
Legal assistant
As of September 2021, Pauline THIRION has joined the law firm as a legal assistant.
After 10 years spent in the touristic sector fulfilling clients’ wishes to escape and managing the
accounting and administrative operations of a travel agency, she now attends the lawyers and
clients at our law firm with kindness and diligence. Her legal training and rigour are put to good use in preparing cases, carrying out research, dealing with the courts and managing the secondary law firm in Metz.
Fees
Fees are set by mutual agreement between the client and the lawyer, under the terms of a
written agreement that systematically specifies :
– the amount or the method of determining the fees covering the foreseeable work,
– as well as the various costs and disbursements envisaged.
The fees will depend upon various factors:
– nature and difficulty of the case,
– time spent on resolving it,
– importance of the interests involved, the customer’s financial situation,
– benefits and results obtained for the client through the lawyer’s work.
One-off consultancy and assistance services are billed based on the time spent.
The firm offers VSEs/SMEs with no dedicated legal department regular advice and assistance
as part of monthly packages, negotiated according to the client’s current situation.
Similarly, where the nature of the dispute allows, tailored flat-fee packages are offered for representing and assisting the firm’s clients before the courts. These packages may include a fixed fee and a profit-sharing component.
Examples of procedures that are particularly well-suited to flat-rate arrangements :
● debt recovery,
● proceedings to renew a commercial lease,
● compensation litigations (claims made following the sale, acquisition or delivery of a
property, breach of contract…).
Regular information
The client is informed on a monthly, quarterly, or semi-annual basis of the progress of the billed fees.
